Tonalli is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to support our mission of blending dance, music, and theatre while creating a welcoming space for Latinx and immigrant communities. If you love the arts and want to be part of an innovative dance company, we’d love to have you on board!

General Requirements:

Age: Must be at least 18 years.

Commitment: Availability for at least one full event, performance, or rehearsal process (varies by role).

Passion for the Arts: Interest in dance, music, and/or theatre is a plus.

Team Player: Ability to collaborate in a creative and diverse environment.

Reliability: Punctuality and accountability in all volunteer duties.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Depending on your skills and interests, volunteers may assist in the following areas:
Event & Performance Support

Backstage assistance (props, costume changes, set transitions)

Merchandise and ticket sales.
Production & Technical Assistance

Lighting and sound setup (experience preferred but not required)

Venue setup and teardown
-
Assisting with rehearsals (music playback, cue coordination)
Administrative & Fundraising Support

Helping with grant applications and sponsorship outreach

Assisting with organizing Tonalli’s gala and fundraising events

General administrative support
Additional Considerations:

Some roles may require lifting, standing for extended periods, or technical knowledge.

Bilingual volunteers (English/Spanish) are highly encouraged.

Training will be provided as needed.
